There are many applications where a plastic bodied valve offers an advantage. Considerations such as weight, cost or, particularly, corrosion or contamination resistance, may indicate the specification of plastic or PTFE valves.

Goyen plastic bodied solenoid valves were originally developed to control the hot or cold water supplies to domestic and commercial washing machines. However, they have since found much wider use in many other industrial and manufacturing applications.

Goyen's large range of plastic and PTFE Normally Closed solenoid valves are manufactured from the highest quality materials, and therefore have the same high tolerances as all Goyen valves. Internal components, using materials such as stainless steel, brass, teflon, viton and reinforced rubber, are designed to complement and enhance the corrosion or contamination resistance of each valve in its specific application environment.

The Goyen 151 2-way normally closed series are valox 420 plastic bodied solenoid operated valves for both general purpose and corrosive fluid applications. Operating using the direct lift principle, the activator of the solenoid coil lifts the plunger off the thin seat opening the valve fully.

Available in a comprehensive range of AC and DC coil voltages. Nitrile seals are standard with Viton and Neoprene available optionally to meet individual application requirements. The 151 series 2-way NC valves are available in 1/8" Rc pipe size. Coil and seal replacement kits are available on request.

The Goyen 351 2-way normally closed series are Valox 420 plastic bodied, internal pilot solenoid operated fluid control valves for general purpose and corrosive fluid application.

Equipped with inline connections, the 351 series are available with Nitrile seals as standard and Viton as optional. The low wattage coil is available in a range of AC and DC voltages.

Available in 3 port sizes 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" Rc.

Coil, seal and diaphragm replacement kits are available on request.

The Goyen 451 2 way normally closed series are Valox 420 glass reinforced plastic bodied internal pilot solenoid operated valves for general purpose and corrosive fluid applications.

Similar to the 351 series except featuring a higher wattage coil, this range is available with Nitrile diaphragm and seals as standard and Viton as optional.

7 port sizes 1/4" Rc - 1 1/2" Rc ensures that the flow rate of your application is met. Further specification of application can be matched through the range of coil voltage AC and DC available with this series.

Coil, seal and diaphragm replacement kits can be supplied on request.

The Goyen 461 series of 2 way diaphragm valves are identical to the 451 but are manufactured in normally open configuration.

Normally open valves will shut fluid flow when the solenoid coil is activated and reopen when coil is deactivated.
